Extracurricular Activities
Jazz Band
Students develop their musical skills while rehearsing and performing jazz, swing, and contemporary music. Members learn teamwork, improvisation, and performance techniques.
Choir
Choir gives students the opportunity to strengthen their singing skills and perform a variety of musical styles. Students build confidence, musicianship, and teamwork through rehearsals and performances.
Yearbook
Yearbook members help capture the people, events, and memories that make the school year special. Students gain experience in photography, writing, interviewing, editing, and page design.
Student Council
Student Council provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills and represent the student body. Members help plan school events, promote school spirit, and support service projects.
Chess Club
Students of all skill levels can learn, practice, and enjoy the game of chess. The club strengthens strategic thinking, concentration, problem-solving, and sportsmanship.
Spelling Bee
The Spelling Bee helps students expand their vocabulary and strengthen their spelling and language skills. Participants build confidence while preparing for friendly classroom and schoolwide competitions.
Black Student Union
The Black Student Union creates a welcoming space for students to celebrate Black culture, history, and achievement. Members promote inclusion, student leadership, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of belonging.
Math 24
Math 24 challenges students to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to create the number 24. The activity builds mental math skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence with numbers.
Creativity Lab
The Creativity Lab gives students space to explore, design, build, and bring their ideas to life. Activities encourage imagination, collaboration, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving.
Adventure Club
Adventure Club encourages students to try new activities, build friendships, and explore the world around them. Members participate in engaging experiences that promote teamwork, curiosity, and personal growth.
Math Club
Math Club offers students fun and challenging ways to explore mathematical concepts beyond the classroom. Members strengthen their skills through puzzles, games, competitions, and collaborative problem-solving.
Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run combines physical activity with lessons that build confidence, healthy habits, and positive relationships. The program concludes with participants completing a celebratory 5K event.
K Dance
K Dance introduces kindergarten students to movement, rhythm, and creative expression. Students build coordination, confidence, and teamwork while learning fun, age-appropriate dances.
Explorer Club
Explorer Club invites students to investigate new topics, cultures, places, and ideas. Through hands-on activities and group projects, members develop curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
IXL
IXL provides students with engaging, personalized practice in subjects such as math and language arts. Students work at their own pace to strengthen essential skills, address learning needs, and celebrate their progress.
